What is the Analytical Platform?

Our goal is for staff to have access to the tools they need to maximise the potential of data and help the department deliver on its data strategy.

Who we are

The Analytical Platform team is a joint venture between the Platforms & Architecture team (Justice Digital) the Data Engineering & Data Science team (Data & Analysis division).

Together, we combine our product, technical, and data expertise to deliver a secure platform that enables staff to interrogate their data.

Our Service

Users of the Analytical Platform can

• Upload and store data in a secure environment for analytical or reporting purposes
• Transform and model raw data to enable more efficient data processing/analysis
• Automate and schedule data pipelines or transformations
• Access cloud-based analytical & development tools/IDEs with GitHub version control
• Create bespoke dashboards & apps to visualise data that can be shared/published
